Robbie likes The Wedding Marketing BlogEvery industry needs a few good critics, in the best sense of the word.  My friend Andy Ebon, author of the Wedding Marketing Blog, is a great example.

First some background.

A good critic provides new ways to appreciate both what’s familiar and what’s novel.

A good critic illuminates his subject.  He describes it, gives it meaning, and sets it in context.  He helps us understand what up to now has been unclear.  Or perhaps completely unnoticed.

How about you?  Whatever your hobby or occupation, wouldn’t it help if you had a better grasp of what’s going on? What used to be?  What some of today’s standard practices really signify?  What some new developments really mean?

This is precisely what The Wedding Marketing Blog provides.  Andy is a successful author, speaker, and blogger, with deep knowledge of both the wedding industry and of marketing.  He writes well, and renders opinions that many wedding professionals admire for their insight and importance.

In recent weeks Andy has commented on online marketing, advertising, branding/image, recent wedding trends, and professional practices in the wedding industry.  In addition, he occasionally steps up on the soap box and delivers a rousing pep talk or a strong reprimand.

I’m a long-time subscriber to The Wedding Marketing Blog.  Of course Andy is not the only person qualified to comment on the wedding industry, but his popularity surely makes him one of the best.

A few other commenters, with varying credentials, include eWedNewz, The Wedding Report, Rebecca Mead, and the Feminist Majority Foundation.

YOUR turn.   What critics do you subscribe to?
