Ultimate Blog ChallengeOn April 1st I accepted an Ultimate Blog Challenge and since then I’ve met many wonderful bloggers.  This blog challenge is simple:  Publish 30 new posts to your blog in the next 30 days.

Yes, that was on April Fool’s Day, and it probably encouraged me.  Hey, take a foolish chance!  I usually blog to market my band and to comment on my life leading a jazz band in the San Francisco Bay Area.  But this blog challenge promised something new.

Over a thousand of us signed up in this blog challenge, but I don’t know how many are actually participating.  Those whom I’ve met are an interesting bunch, though, and I’m learning a lot!

We’re encouraged to comment on each other’s blogs, and I’ve shared comments back-and-forth with quite a few.  In the process I’ve read lots of informative, inspiring blogs on topics that range all over the place.  About the only thing we all share in common is our enthusiasm for blogging and our willingness to help and support each other.

I’m sure I’ll meet many more in the 2 weeks remaining.  For now, let me briefly introduce you to just a few of the people (in no particular order) whose blogs caught my eye.  I encourage you to visit all their interesting blogs, and if you like what someone is saying, leave them a nice little comment on their blog.

Michelle Shaeffer (http://michelleshaeffer.com) and Michele Scism (http://decisiveminds.com) are the organizers/administrators of the challenge.  Each is very knowledgable about social media, which is what they blog about.

Ruth Crone (http://www.thepeopleincubator.com) — a blogger in business to help other businesses with financial matters

Armi Niemi (http://armiexpress.com/welcome-to-my-blog/) — a blogger who helps bloggers with blogging

Jaime Lee (http://Ask-Jaime.com) — a blogger helping individuals and small business get started online

April Smith (http://www.adminsuperwoman.com) — Administrative Superwoman, Social Media Marketer, Website Design Diva

Helen Bogun (http://helz-design.com) — blogger, graphic-designer, media-designer

Kelly J. Youngblood (http://renewing-your-mind.blogspot.com/) — blogger, journeying through life, waiting to find God’s next call upon it

Nicole Bandes (http://www.GoldenEaglesCoaching.com) — blogger, coach, speaker, author

Laura Orsini (http://www.writemarketdesign.com) — blogger, editorial/marketing consultant for socially conscious speakers, coaches, authors

Donna Moritz (http://www.sociallysorted.com.au) — Social Media Marketing Strategist, Blogger, Travel Addict, and Chocaholic.

Jackie Bledsoe, Jr. (http://www.JackieBledsoe.com) — blogger with Passion 4 Jesus, wife & kids, loves learning, building businesses, & basketball

Hi Annette,
Thanks for replying so quickly. I’m trying to do the same. Actually, I think the main lesson I’m learning from this challenge is “be disciplined”. Do what you need to do, and do it now. Anyway, I’m glad you enjoy my blog! But what are we doing up so late on a Sunday? It’s after midnight over here.
Talk with you again.
